Your videos are fantastic! I really appreciate a place to start in terms of how to selct a place to go, depths, to what to look for to start. THanks a ton!
Catch and release, it’s a beautiful thing.
@JRebble01
Yes. Yes I can. When you’ve caught enough fish, you get pretty good at estimating their size within a pretty narrow tolerance. So…try again, you inbred redneck cousinhumper.
@iheartmacncheez Really you can tell a 6-8lb difference just by a video that shows one side of it when he’s holding it? dude pull your head out of your ass and get a fucking life.
in some lakes by la ronge
that is a cracking fish, cool as fuck when you see it coming up thru that clear water aswell, awsome stuff
@TheKingfisher90 there are a lot of baits that would work well. we like bucktail jigs and airplane jigs. sonars work well too. may i ask where you are planing on fishing? this may help me give you more options. i’m going to canada this week to fish for lakers myself. 50 pounds is the mark this year.
me and my friend are a huge fans of lakers so could you tell us what type of bait do you use that would be great

@TheKingfisher90 there are all kinds of lures we like to use. leadhead jigs tipped with some cut bait works well for us.
what typy of lure do you use
Hi #UN#, I like your ice fishing video…very cool!
20 lbs hahahahahahahaha try 12-14 lbs. Still a very nice fish though. I don’t know why people inflate the weight of their catches…they just look foolish.
i hope those three post will help.
lakers like feeding on oily bait fish because it’s a high energy resource. If there are cisco, tulibee, or whitefish in the lake you may want to try finding them first. the lakers will be right there with them waiting to feed on those fish. i hope some of this may help. if you have more questions feel free to ask.
i don’t know what king of regulations are in place on the lake you are fishing, but if you can use some kind of cut bait on a bucktail jig that can be pretty effective as well. i know some of this info may not be greatly detailed but it’s hard to get too specific without much knowledge of the body of water you are fishing.
