Hey nice video. just wondering what type of jigs and what colors you normally use and at what depths depending on the water clarity and time of the ice fishign season.
yes they were small, but there are lots that are over 15 inches. just not that day. i have 4 crappies on my wall over 16 inches. and these are Black crappies, not white crappies
using a super ulta light rod with 4lb test and fishing in 30feet of line. you have to give a good hookset because of line stretch and rod flex. I have been fishing them for years here, and you can’t do a light hookset
How do you prepare your crappies? I am starting to get tired of the Chef Roberts batter and frying method.
